Cobb County’s school board has settled a lawsuit filed in response to the placement of stickers in textbooks singling out evolution as theory, not fact. In the settlement, the school board has agreed to pay $166,659 in legal costs and to abandon an appeal of a 2005 decision requiring the stickers be removed.
