Iran’s government has said yet again that it is determined to develop nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. But they’ve managed to convince a bunch of people that this effort masks a program to develop nuclear weapons. Perhaps that’s because with the United States occupying positions in countries on two of Iran’s borders, and occasional Bush sabre-rattling, they’re feeling, well, rattled.
